Fashion Engineer

Amsterdam

Meet Lidewij, a Dutch fashion engineer with a keen eye for timeless design. It's not about following trends, it's about creating pieces that stand the test of time.

Lidewij's approach to fashion combines modern technology with traditional craftsmanship. Her aim is to create products that people really appreciate and rely on. Take her redesign of the bra, for example. In 2015, she graduated from TU Delft with a revolutionary bra holder called the Curvearis.

This achievement led her to launch her own label, Arí van Twillert, in 2018. But Lidewij's expertise isn't limited to bras. With a background in technical product design, she's developed innovative ways to make clothes. And she's keen to share her knowledge with others.

What drives Lidewij is her belief in the transformative power of clothing. Growing up, she was inspired by her mother's carefully preserved clothes. She knows first-hand how the right outfit can boost your confidence and change the way you feel.

For Lidewij, fashion isn't just about keeping up with the latest trends. It's about creating pieces that people will treasure for years to come.
