In this two-hour workshop led by Anna, participants engage in the art of bookbinding to create a large, elegant guest book. The session begins with selecting materials for the book's spine, cover and endpapers, allowing for personal customisation.

Attendees learn essential bookbinding techniques such as folding quires with a folding bone, pricking holes and sewing onto leather. The process continues with covering the book covers with bookbinding linen and adding a decorative ribbon.

The workshop employs materials like leather, linen thread, decorative paper and bookbinding linen and introduces special tools like the folding bone and a press. These elements combine to teach the foundational skills of traditional bookbinding.

By the workshop's end, participants will have crafted a chic guest book, featuring leather, linen and ornamental sewing, showcasing both their newly learned skills and creative expression.
