Unlock your creative potential with Lilian in her studio in a charming old factory. This workshop is ideal for beginners and those wishing to develop their mosaic skills.

Lilian, who has over 20 years teaching experience, will guide you through a variety of techniques. You'll start with some theory before choosing to specialise in either glass or tile mosaics. A practical curriculum covers essential information, from materials to adhesive types.

Typically, you'll create a 30x30cm mosaic panel, but feel free to discuss any specific projects you have in mind. Throughout the day you'll also learn about frost and waterproofing techniques, working with paint and shaping stones to bring your design to life.

Join Lilian for a fun day of creativity and craftsmanship and leave with the skills to continue your mosaic journey!

Note : The workshop includes all materials for your project, a digital textbook and unlimited coffee, tea, snacks and a delicious lunch.

Rencontrez Lilian

Mosaic Artist

Meet Lilian, a mosaic artist based in Amsterdam. Born in Hamburg in 1975 and raised in Baarn, Lilian's creativity flourished in an artistic family. Although she initially studied communications, her love of painting, drawing and ceramics never wavered.

Her travels as a tour guide sparked a fascination with the ornamental art of different cultures and led to her passion for mosaics, which she embraced in 2001. Lilian is a member of BBK and AIMC (International Association of Contemporary Mosaic Artists) and creates both commissions and exhibition pieces which are exhibited in galleries, schools and community art projects.

Lilian teaches at mosaic schools throughout the Netherlands, sharing her knowledge with students of all ages.

With numerous exhibitions to her credit, including an award at the 2007 International Mosaic Biennale, she continues to seek new inspiration through artist residencies in Europe and Indonesia.

With her passion and expertise, Lilian inspires and enriches the art community with her stunning mosaics.
