Transform your old furniture into something brand new with the help of Mees and Harvey of Generatie Groen. Join us for a two-day woodworking workshop where you will learn about our innovative approach to woodworking and the importance of upcycling to make our world a greener place.

Throughout the workshop, Mees and Harvey will guide you through the process of analyzing and transforming your furniture step by step. From surface preparation to the final touches, we will cover all aspects of woodworking. Our aim is to ensure that you leave with a piece of furniture that has been given new life and reflects your creativity.

Located in the NDSM big incubator, this workshop is part of a community of young creators. Bring your lunch and water bottle with you, and take a short break before continuing on with the project. If you don't have any old furniture, don't worry! Mees and Harvey will provide one for you, such as a small table, coffee table, chair, desk, or stool.

At the end of the two-day session, you will take home your very own upcycled furniture, a unique piece that showcases your creativity and commitment to sustainability.

Welcome to the world of Generatie Groen, the design and fabrication studio founded by two friends, Harvey Hendriks and Mees van de Nes. These two young minds met during their studies in Industrial Product Design in Amsterdam and have since become inseparable. Generatie Groen believes that there is a lot that can be done to change the way we treat our planet. We live in a society that is obsessed with consumerism, always seeking more and new things.
