Join Nina in her beautiful waterfront studio for an immersive and creative leatherworking workshop where you'll have the opportunity to create your very own bag from start to finish.
Nina will guide you through each stage of the process, from choosing the perfect leather to assembling the final product. You'll be given two styles of bag to choose from: one with a zip and one with a flap, and you can decide during the workshop whether you want a small or slightly larger version.
The session begins with an introduction to the world of leatherwork, where you'll learn to appreciate the smell and texture of quality leather, followed by a tour of the tools and materials in the studio. Next, you'll be inspired by a variety of samples before choosing your leather, colours and personal design details.
Once you've cut out your leather pieces, you'll assemble your bag with Nina's hands-on guidance every step of the way. You'll even make your own handle, using either harness leather or a canvas strap to give your bag a truly personal touch.
So come and experience the joy of making something by hand, and leave with a stunning personalised bag that you've made yourself!
Note: drinks will be available during the workshop to enhance this unique experience.

Meet Nina, the creative heart behind SA Design, a brand born from her lifelong love of bags. As a child she was inseparable from her handbag, a trait she now sees in her daughter Sofía. For Nina, bags are more than accessories - they're a reflection of identity and style.
Disillusioned by today's fast fashion, Nina wanted to bring back the craftsmanship behind beautiful, ethical bags. Her brand was born during a trip to the South of France and was co-founded with Sofía. They focus on local, traditional methods, working with family businesses and proudly carry an Amsterdam quality mark for sustainability and craftsmanship.
Their journey is personal: Sofía's early illness turned their business into a form of therapy that strengthened family bonds. Now fully recovered, they pour their passion into every design, sharing their stories and quality bags with the world.
Nina's workshops are not just about fashion - they are about creativity, ethical choices and celebrating the art of handmade bags.

Ik had het grote voorrecht om een privé workshop te krijgen, omdat de andere deelnemer op het laatst verhinderd was. Dank Nina, dat je het toch hebt laten doorgaan! Het was een heerlijke ochtend in het atelier aan het water en de tas die ik voor mijn tienerdochter gemaakt had werd zeer enthousiast ontvangen! Ze had er weinig van verwacht maar was onder de indruk:). En dat had heel veel te maken met het vakmanschap en de fijne persoonlijkheid van Nina die me wel alles zelf liet doen maar me geduldig met raad en daad bijstond. Een hele fijne ervaring!
