  • Welcome to Farah's jewellery workshop!

As you enter the studio, Farah greets you warmly and begins by introducing herself and her brand. She talks about her background in jewellery making and her commitment to sustainability.

Safety is a priority, so Farah takes a moment to go over health and safety protocols. Clear instructions are given to ensure everyone's wellbeing during the workshop.

Farah then takes you through the use of torches and tools, giving you the skills you need to work effectively with metal. With her expertise, you'll soon feel confident in your abilities.

Throughout the workshop you'll learn the step-by-step process of making jewellery, from cutting and shaping metal to soldering and finishing. With Farah's guidance, you will be able to twist and turn metal to give your creations a unique touch.

In the end, you'll be proud to take home a pair of silver hoop earrings you've made yourself!

    Rencontrez Farah

    Jeweller

Meet Farah, who has been making jewellery since she was a teenager. With a degree in 3D design and metalwork, she has been selling her designs for over 20 years and teaching metalwork and jewellery making for much of that time.

Farah draws inspiration for her jewellery from a variety of sources, including a close study of botany, travels around the UK and beyond, and everyday objects found in her surroundings. Her designs reflect a blend of natural elements and personal experiences, resulting in unique and captivating pieces.

Ethics and sustainability are at the heart of Farah's business practices. She prioritises the use of recycled materials to reduce environmental impact and ensures that her gold is sourced from Fairtrade suppliers, benefiting the communities associated with the mines.

Farah works from her small but welcoming studio, which doubles as a showroom for her creations. Her passion extends beyond creating jewellery; she also enjoys teaching workshops to share her expertise with others.

In summary, Farah brings years of experience, creativity and a commitment to sustainability to her work.
