Welcome to Miranda and Amanda's soap making workshop! These talented twin sisters started their own brand of homemade and handmade soap and cosmetics in 2015. They're now sharing their expertise with you in a fun-filled and creative workshop that's sure to leave you feeling inspired and refreshed.
During this hands-on 2 hour session, you'll be introduced to the different products used in soap making, and you'll get to choose from a range of natural ingredients, including flours and herbs, to personalise your own soap. You'll mix your ingredients in a jug with essential oils, glycerin, sorbitol, and flowers/herbs, before pouring them into moulds.
Miranda and Amanda will then safely melt the crystal soap base before adding it to the mixture in the jugs. You'll pour the mixture into moulds and let it dry while enjoying a refreshing drink. After 20 minutes, you'll take out your soaps from the moulds and put them in nice gift bags if you'd like to offer them as a gift.
This hot saponification workshop is super simple yet creative. You'll leave with eight pieces of soap with different shapes that you've personalised yourself. Light Refreshments supplied by Afrobean Kitchen.

Step into the world of Amanda and Miranda, twin sisters and founders of their own brand of homemade and handmade soap and cosmetics. With their passion for natural ingredients and expertise in soap making, they've created a line of vegan products that's both ethical and local.
But their mission goes beyond just creating products. Amanda and Miranda believe that sharing knowledge is key to mental clarity and well-being. That's why they organise workshops, sometimes for free with disadvantaged children, to help others learn the art of soap making and find joy in the process.
Their studio is located in a rented room in a social center in Brixton, and is filled with positivity, enthusiasm, and smiles. Amanda and Miranda's dedication to their craft and desire to share it with others is truly inspiring!
