Ever wanted to make barista coffee at home? This workshop introduces participants to the art of espresso making as well as giving you a peak behind the curtain of one of London's oldest roasterys.
After a brief health and safety overview, attendees will enjoy a tour of the roastery, learning about the process and the brand's philosophy. The session will begin with a look at two different coffee blends, where participants will experience the distinct flavors each has to offer. Using professional equipment, you'll gain hands-on experience operating an espresso machine, setting up a grinder, and adjusting settings to create a balanced, flavorsome espresso.
The skills learned are easily transferrable to a home espresso setup. You'll also discover the fundamentals of steaming and stretching milk, with dairy and non-dairy options available, and learn the basics of latte art. Throughout the workshop, questions are encouraged, and participants will take home a 250g bag of their favorite blend.
A 20% discount on additional coffee will be available on the day. Water and biscuits will be provided throughout the experience.
