Create your own hardwood charcuterie board with Dom

Welcome to this practical workshop, where you'll meet woodworker and designer Dom, and create your own hardwood charcuterie board. With a background in graphic design and a passion for craftsmanship, Dom will guide you through every step of the process. 

The workshop starts with an introduction to Dom and his work, as well as essential health and safety guidelines and a tour of his industrial studio in Peckham. Next, you'll learn about Dom's signature charcuterie board design and the detailed processes he uses to create them. 



You will have a choice of wood species and you'll be taken through each step in detail. This will be a process of shaping the wood by removing material with a number of processes, including the band saw, pillar drill and table router. 



Finally, you'll sand and oil your board with food-safe oil to enhance the natural look of the wood and prepare it for use. At the end of the workshop you'll have a bespoke charcuterie board to take home.
