Join Beatrix for a creative workshop where you will make two beautiful ceramic candlesticks with wooden bases.
The session will begin with an introduction to pre-formed ceramic shapes, which you will have the opportunity to transform according to your personal style. Under Beatrix's guidance, you will shape and refine your candleholders, learning valuable techniques in working with clay and shaping tools. Once you've redesigned the ceramics, you'll choose a wooden base to complement your creations.
Once the workshop is complete, Beatrix will glaze and glue your pieces. Your bespoke candleholders will be ready for collection in approximately 3-4 weeks.
When the dust settles you will have two unique, handmade candleholders that reflect your creativity!

Ceramist
Beatricia is an artisan with a real passion for creating. With a background in art school and a Bachelor of Art Education, she began her ceramic journey in 2019. For Beatrix, crafting isn't just a job, it's a way of expressing herself. Her creativity extends beyond ceramics to sewing, drawing and calligraphy.
Her work is guided by a deep respect for handmade craftsmanship. Over the years Beatricia has had a varied career as an artist decorator, wedding designer, marine furniture designer and ceramics teacher. Each experience has enriched her creative journey.
Beatricia is passionate about teaching and loves to help others discover their own hidden talents. Her workshops are a chance for participants to unleash their creativity in a welcoming and supportive environment!
