Welcome to Atelier Ainoa, where creativity flourishes. Join Sanna for a unique workshop experience, as you immerse yourself in the art of working with clay amidst a serene and inspiring atmosphere.
Under Sanna's expert guidance, you'll first learn to clay your creation and then explore decoration techniques using natural elements. Over three immersive hours, you'll craft small clay objects and adorn them with intricate designs inspired by flowers and plants. Choose to craft a charming snack set or a delightful little plate, adorning it with your unique designs.
This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist.
You'll receive personalised attention, fostering a sense of community. Materials, tools, and our dedicated firing service are all included in the workshop price, allowing you to fully engage in the creative process.
After completing your artworks, please allow 2 to 4 weeks for the transformation from clay to ceramic masterpieces. Once ready, you'll have the pleasure of collecting your creations, tangible reminders of the moments of tranquillity and self-expression you experienced at Atelier Ainoa.
Note that your final pieces can also be shipped to you home with regular shipping costs and conditions.

Ceramic Artist
Meet Sanna, a ceramist who embarked on a career switch in 2021, leaving behind her role as a data and artificial intelligence consultant to pursue her true calling as a teaching artist. With a background in mathematics, Sanna sought to explore her creativity in new realms, finding her passion in the world of ceramics.
Since her teenage years, Sanna has dedicated herself to the art of hand building, cultivating her skills and gaining invaluable experience along the way. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature, the tapestry of history, and the intricacies of human relationships, Sanna's art delves into the essence of what it means to be human. Her mission is to guide individuals in disconnecting from the digital realm, enabling them to rediscover themselves and their surroundings through the traditional art form of ceramics.
In the spring of 2022, Sanna unveiled her exquisite ceramics atelier in the charming town of Zaandam. Here, she offers basic ceramics courses and organises self-portrait workshops. Sanna firmly believes in the power of engaging with our hands and sees hand building with clay as a form of meditation. Through her classes, she empowers individuals to unlock their imagination, playfully explore the medium of clay, and develop an intimate connection with this versatile material.
