L'atelier en détail
In this 2.5 hour hands-on workshop you will learn all the skills required to design and create your own bespoke ring using ancient wax carving techniques!
This workshop is a perfect opportunity to free your mind, get creative and connect with other like-minded people whilst making a special heirloom.
No need to come with a design in mind, the creative process will allow some time to brainstorm with inspiring materials to help you come up with your very own and unique piece of jewelry.
All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. However, if you would like to deepen your existing skill set, that is possible too. The techniques in wax carving and what you can create in wax are endless! I will tailer a portion of the workshop to each individual's design, but will also cover all the different methods and techniques used in wax carving for lost wax casting. There will be some exciting optional upgrades available in-class, including gemstone setting, gold plating or engraving to make your ring even more special (available for pre-purchase or to add on the day).
By the end of the class, your piece will be completed, ready for casting which takes about 2 weeks.
The price includes materials to make a ring up to 4mm width. If you'd like to upgrade to a thicker ring, you will simply be charged for the additional weight in silver (calculated in class based on the final weight) plus a £5 casting upgrade fee.
If you would like to upgrade to solid gold you may do this on the day. We will weigh the wax model to determine the cost of gold.

Meet Natasha, a skilled artisan with a rich journey that has taken her from the Midwestern US, Los Angeles and New York before settling in London.
Originally drawn to the film industry, Natasha moved to LA at the age of 18 to pursue a career in styling and costume design. She dabbled in jewellery making on the side and launched her first line, Garage Gypsy, in 2008. However, as her styling career took off, she put her jewellery ambitions on hold.
In 2016, Natasha shifted gears and moved to New York to study silversmithing. It was there that she discovered her passion for lost wax casting. Inspired by the process, she founded Anonoma, her own jewellery line.
Natasha has now settled in the UK, after being drawn back to her family roots. Here she continues to refine her craft, blending influences from her American upbringing with her newfound British environment. Each piece she creates reflects her journey and dedication to the art of jewellery making.
