  • Learn all about whole carcass butchery, guided by the masters themselves - Rob and Jack! In this hands on workshop, you'll learn all about the Butchers Table, sourcing the best meat, have a go at butchering your own beef and you'll finish the evening with a delicious steak dinner.

    Begin your experience with a warm introduction to Rob and Jack, the team behind the Butchers Table. Their passion and expertise will instantly draw you in, not the mention the amazing butchers shop where the workshop is held.

    Learn about the importance of sourcing ethically and sustainably before immersing yourself in the art of butchery as you learn how to carve everyone's favourite cuts. You will leave the workshop with your own cut - a roughly 1kg prime rib. 

    After you have mastered the butchery techniques, step across the road to the local pub, where your evening culminates in a mouthwatering steak dinner and drinks.

    Following an injury, Rob's journey to butchery began with an 18-month intensive training under the guidance of industry experts, individuals who have honed their skills over decades. This foundation has transformed him into a maestro of meat, each cut a testament to his dedication and meticulous craftsmanship.

    The individuality of he Butchers Table lies within their approach. With an unwavering commitment to ethical practices, they source high-welfare and free-range meat from across the UK. 

    Stepping into the Butchers Table is an experience in itself, surrounded by fridges showcasing the meat and highlighting their commitment to whole carcass butchery, you will be taken to the back of the shop to begin the workshop around a huge butchers block.
